Lt. Col. Oliver North
Lt. Col. Oliver North is a combat decorated U.S. Marine, #1 best-selling author, founder of a small business and holder of three U.S. patents. For seventeen years he was a syndicated columnist and host of “War Stories” on FOX News Channel. In May 2018, he retired from FOX News to serve as the 66th president of the National Rifle Association of America. North was born in San Antonio, Texas in 1943, graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1968 and served twenty-two years as a U.S. Marine. His awards for service in combat include the Silver Star, the Bronze Star for valor, and two Purple Hearts for wounds in action.
Senator Ted Cruz
Rafael Edward “Ted” Cruz is an American politician and attorney serving as the junior United States Senator from Texas since 2013. A member of the Republican Party, Cruz served as Solicitor General of Texas from 2003 to 2008. After graduating from Princeton University and Harvard Law School, Cruz pursued a career in politics. He worked as a policy advisor in the George W. Bush administration before serving as Solicitor General of Texas from 2003 to 2008. In 2012, Cruz was elected to the U.S. Senate, becoming the first Hispanic-American to serve as a U.S. senator from Texas.

We are so excited to have you coming to “A Night for the Ages: Celebrating 50 years of Tim Lee Ministries” next Friday night, April 21st. It is going to be an incredible night! Below are some preliminary instructions to fill you in on some things and help you enjoy your night even more!
TIM LEE MINISTRIES OPEN HOUSE!
We will be hosting an Open House at our office on Friday morning, the 21st from 10:30-11:30. Light refreshments will be served and of course Tim & Connie will be there to fellowship.

Building 22-ALLY’S GYM
The gym that was built in honor of Tim and Connie’s granddaughter, Ally, who passed away suddenly in 2017, will be open from 1:00-2:30 on Friday the 21st. We know many of you supported and prayed for this project and you are welcome to go and see it. It’s beautiful! You will need to check in at the main house on campus before going to the gym.

PARKING FOR “A NIGHT FOR THE AGES”

When you arrive, go into GATE ONE! You will see signs for Complimentary Valet Parking. If you use this, you will be dropped off right by the entrance door! There will also be signs for self parking if you prefer to do that, feel free!
If you are coming in a limousine or a longer vehicle, follow the signs for Valet and you will exit your vehicle about 25 feet from the entrance door. A limo or larger car will probably not make the turn for Valet.
REGISTRATION
When you arrive, please have your tickets ready on your mobile device or printed out. They will be scanned at the door and you will receive your name tag. Behind your name tag, will be a small card that you will place on your table when you enter the main ballroom. This card will let your waiter know if you have ordered chicken or steak. If you need your tickets re-emailed to you, please email amber@timlee.org to get a copy of your tickets. We will also have a list of names of everyone who is registered.
VIP TICKET HOLDERS
The “Hors d’oeuvres Hour” will begin at 5:15pm for VIP ticket holders. You will enjoy some incredible food, amazing music and get your photo with our program guests.
When you enter the main ballroom, VIP Ticket holders will have a reserved, designated table. You table number will be on your name tag.
GENERAL TICKET HOLDERS
The “Hors d’oeuvres Hour” will begin at 5:30 for general ticket holders. You will enjoy the same amazing food, fun music and a custom Tim Lee Ministries photo booth.
When you enter the main ball room, general ticket holders will have open seating. There will still be numbers on the table, this is just to help the wait staff. When you enter the main ballroom, feel free to sit at any table that is not marked “reserved.”
ATTIRE
The event attire is labeled as semi-formal. This is usually men in suits and ladies in nice dresses.
However, this is Texas and we are going to Southfork Ranch so, no doubt we will have a little bit of everything. For men, a suit, sport coat and jeans, or even a nice shirt with slacks will work. For ladies, a nice church dress or outfit is totally fine. A more formal one is fine too. We will have it all.

Lastly, we know that life happens and sometimes things come up, but if you cannot attend for any reason, please let us know ASAP by emailing event@timlee.org.

Important Open House Information
Friends, Two last things in regards to our previous email: If you plan on attending the Tim Lee Ministries Open House on Friday morning 4/21, please RSVP by emailing openhouse@timlee.org no later than Tuesday, 4/18. And, on the night of the event, in case you cannot make it to the Hors d’oeuvre hour (we hope you can because it will be great), the doors for the main event will open at 6:15pm and the program will begin at 6:30pm in the Oil Baron’ss Ballroom.
